- Purpose: The Software Technician is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to students, academic staff, and administrative teams across a wide range of university software platforms. This includes resolving user issues, assisting with system access and functionality, delivering user training, and supporting the rollout of new digital tools.
Responsibilities
Over 100 mid and small sized staff/student service apps, are maintained in daily basis.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all academic and administrative software-related issues.
- Troubleshoot user issues related to access, functionality, and system errors.

- LRC (Learning Resource Center Apps)

- Attendance System
- Assessment Platform
- Mobile App ( App Store and Play Market)
- Lyceum Systems (SRS and Intranet)
- Dormitory & Contract Applications
- Unified Student Services (Appeals, Exam Script Requests, Interruption, Visa Support, Military, etc.)
- General Intranet Services (Budget, Help Desk, Room Reservation, Video Conference Management, etc.)
Trainings:
- Train end users on system functionality through in-person sessions, documentation, or video tutorials.
- Assist in onboarding users to newly developed university applications.
- Collaborate with IT developers and infrastructure teams to escalate and resolve more complex issues.
- Analyze support trends and suggest improvements to enhance system usability and efficiency.
Requirements
The role requires excellent communication skills in English, Russian, and Uzbek, a good understanding of university processes, and a strong technical background. The ideal candidate is a reliable problem-solver who can translate technical concepts into user-friendly solutions and ensure the smooth daily operation of digital systems across the university.
