Aptitudes and Skills:
➤ The efficiency of the Social Media Manager will be measured by: Weekly compliance: At least one project-related post published per week with proper branding and attribution. Campaign results: Visibility and engagement during the Economics Olympiad (registrations, reach, event promotion). Platform growth: Increase in followers/subscribers and engagement rates on Instagram, Telegram, and YouTube. Content delivery: Successful promotion of podcasts, lessons, teacher training, and events. Reporting discipline: Timely submission of monthly analytics and proper documentation for grant reporting. -
Purpose:
✔ Core activities include the Economics Olympiad 2026, teacher training, educational video production, university intellectual competitions, and Uzbek-language economic media development. The Social Media Manager will play a key role in ensuring national visibility, brand compliance, and measurable digital impact.
Responsibilities
1. Lead Digital Promotion of the Economics Olympiad 2026
- Develop and execute the full social media campaign for school and national rounds.
- Promote registration, deadlines, and participation across all regions.
- Publicly document all stages of the Olympiad (announcements, results, national round, winners).
2. Ensure Weekly Mandatory Project Visibility
- Publish at least one project-related post per week.
- Maintain continuous visibility of EFI activities across platforms.
- Ensure proper attribution and branding in all content.
3. Manage Core Platforms
- Oversee Instagram, Telegram, and YouTube channels.
- Adapt content to each platform format (posts, reels, announcements, videos).
- Promote livestreams and event coverage.
4. Promote Educational Activities
- Publicize teacher training sessions and workshops.
- Promote financial literacy activities (Cash Flow game sessions).
- Launch and promote 10 podcast episodes.
- Promote recorded economics lessons and related materials.
5. Content Planning & Production
- Create and maintain structured monthly content calendars.
- Produce engaging educational and event-based content.
- Coordinate visuals, short videos, and event materials.
6. Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor KPIs (reach, engagement, growth).
- Prepare monthly and quarterly analytics reports.
- Maintain an organized archive of all published materials for grant reporting.
7. Brand & Compliance Management
- Ensure consistent EFI brand visibility.
- Follow all attribution and visibility requirements.
- Align messaging with educational and institutional standards.
Requirements
To successfully carry out the tasks within the EFI Uzbekistan 2026 project, the Social Media Manager must possess the following competencies and experience:
1. Social Media Strategy & Campaign Management
- Proven experience managing structured digital campaigns (preferably in education, NGO, or grant-funded projects).
- Ability to plan and execute nationwide awareness campaigns.
- Experience building content calendars aligned with project milestones and deadlines.
2. Platform Expertise
- Strong practical knowledge of Instagram (Reels, engagement growth, campaign launches).
- Experience managing Telegram channels for announcements and community communication.
- Experience managing YouTube channels (video uploads, optimization, thumbnails, descriptions, analytics).
- Understanding of cross-platform content adaptation.
3. Content Creation Skills
- Ability to produce engaging educational content (text, short-form video, visuals).
- Advanced video editing skills for short clips and promotional content.
- Copywriting skills in Uzbek (required); Russian and/or English is an advantage.
4. Analytics & Reporting
- Ability to track KPIs (reach, impressions, engagement, subscriber growth).
- Experience preparing structured monthly performance reports.
- Data-driven approach to improving campaign performance.
5. Brand & Compliance Awareness
- Ability to follow branding guidelines strictly.
- Experience working within structured frameworks where weekly posting and reporting are mandatory.
- Understanding of reputational responsibility when representing international organizations.
6. Organizational & Communication Skills
- Strong time management and ability to meet fixed deadlines.
- Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders (teachers, regional representatives, media partners).
- Ability to work independently under strategic supervision.
7. Additional Advantages
- Experience in education, youth engagement, or academic competitions.
- Experience promoting events (including livestreams).
- Understanding of Uzbekistan’s school and university ecosystem.
Conditions
EFI Uzbekistan is implementing a nationally funded educational initiative aimed at promoting economic and financial literacy across Uzbekistan.
A candidate must have own equipment for professional video shooting, and be able to generate AI videos and animation.
Contract duration: 1 year
