  • Purpose:
        ✔ Lab coordinator provides efficient engagement of stakeholders with lab, in order to generate productive outcomes in means of lab’s overall performance, development of new executive courses, training programs, access to external funding, collaboration with faculties within university. This position will include cooperation with researchers and corporate staff to provide training and support. Lab coordinator will be responsible for initiating and managing seminars and workshops for users to stay up to date with lab’s activities such as Bloomberg and financial platforms on experimental activities, and offer valuable support to end-users.

Responsibilities

·         Manage the day-to-day operations of Finance lab, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

·         Cultivate strategic action plan on engaging stakeholders (administrative staff, module leaders, employers, potential customers and strategic partners) in developing the products and solutions (including courses, research activities and consulting services) of the Finance lab.

·         Coaching students for Bloomberg/CFA Challenge and other international competitions.

·         Work with other faculty users of the Finance lab to determine equipment, hardware, and software needs and advise the Head of Finance Department and leadership team on equipment upgrades, replacement, and repairs.

·         Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies and use this knowledge to drive innovative ways of teaching and research within WIUT.

·         Develop and implement innovation strategies and initiatives that align with the overall university’s strategy.

·         Provide training and learning support to the staff members of the financial sponsor (e.g. sponsoring Bank).

Recruit, select, train and assign students and/or Research Assistants to deliver training and support for their peers and colleagues

Requirements

·         Academic degree in Finance, Economics, Computing or a related field.

·         Professional experience and knowledge in Bloomberg Terminals and other related softwares;

·         At least 3 years of stock exchange/finance, AI experience in the local/global ecosystem.

·         Experience in collaboration with other university-based labs.

·         Experience in organizing training, executive and certification courses for stakeholders.

·         Fluency in Uzbek, English, Russian.
