  • Purpose: Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) is seeking a Lecturer (a Module Leader) for Creative Entrepreneurship to contribute to the MA in Creative Industries Management programme, validated by the University of Westminster (UK). The role involves both teaching and content development based on the existing validated module proforma. The Creative Entrepreneurship module introduces students to entrepreneurial thinking and innovation strategies in the context of the creative and cultural industries. It focuses on how creative ideas evolve into viable ventures, exploring creative business models, project management, market positioning, and value creation in the arts, design, media, and related sectors.

Responsibilities

– Develop and refine module content and assessment materials in alignment with the existing validated module proforma.

– Deliver engaging lectures and seminars that combine theory and real-world practice in entrepreneurship.

– Support students in developing creative business ideas and project proposals.

– Integrate relevant case studies from creative industries, both local and international.

– Collaborate with the Course Leader and contribute to the wider development of the MA in Creative Industries Management programme.

Requirements

– A Master’s degree (or higher) in Management, Entrepreneurship, Business, or a related discipline is required.

– Relevant industry experience in entrepreneurship, management, or creative-sector business development is a strong advantage.

– Demonstrated interest or experience in the creative industries (such as fashion, design, media, arts, or cultural enterprises) would be a significant plus. Candidates with prior teaching or practical experience in creative entrepreneurship are especially encouraged to apply.

– Strong command of English (the language of instruction).

– Ability to design dynamic learning experiences and engage postgraduate students.
