- Aptitudes and Skills: This course aims to capitalise on the growth trends in the financial sector (such as banking, insurance and other financial intermediation services industries) in Uzbekistan and accommodate the growing need for a wide range of professionals in finance. By acquiring the skills and knowledge overseen by the course, course graduates will open up a range of job opportunities in areas such as commercial banking, financial planning, asset finance, trade finance, investment risk management, securities analysis, fund management, wealth management, investment banking and government and corporate treasury management.
- Purpose: Visiting Practitioners must deliver the course content validated by the accreditation bodies of the University of Westminster in London.
Responsibilities
Visiting Practitioners, who should be able to teach on a range of modules within the subject area on Foundation level, including the associated preparation, assessment setting, marking and review process in accordance with the University Quality Assurance and Enhancement process.
Visiting Practitioners should demonstrate commitment, flexibility, passion and enthusiasm for the subject area. They should also be well-organized and able to plan ahead and meet deadlines.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Master degree highly qualified
- Bachelor degree will also be considered
- at least 2 years of industry experience in the subject area.
- Fluency in English either with 7 IELTS or a subject qualification taught and assessed in English.
- Teaching experience preferred.
Conditions
Visiting Practitioners will carry the rank of Associate Lecturer, Lecturer, or Senior Lecturer, depending on qualifications. The contract will be on a semester basis or one academic year.
